Controlled land surveying, building measurement surveying, 
setting-out, boundary dispute/demarcation and consultancy, in 
England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Eire, France, Spain, 
Italy, Germany, Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and Belize.
Particular Area of Expertise:
Boundary Dispute Resolution and Boundary Demarcation… Probably the country’s leading expert in the field of Boundary
Dispute Resolution.  Member of the Land Registry Rules Committee. Prepared well over 2,500 reports, given oral evidence
in Court on over 100 occasions, author of books and published articles on the subject, regular broadcaster, appeared 
in BBC TV’s “Neighbours at War” series, gives talks throughout the World on “boundary disputes”, “neighbours at war”,
“running a small professional practice”, “nuisances” as well as light-hearted after-dinner speeches.  He is a past 
Chairman of the Geomatics faculty of the Royal Institute of chartered surveyors, is currently on the RICS Neighbour
Dispute Panel and has recently finished the redraft of the next edition of “Anstey’s Boundary Disputes”.  
Publication (by RICS Books) in Spring 2009.
